Application brief

black bull heavy duty chain hoist

Building geometry, not a retail product name, decides which factory line can be compared. Write the room, the beam and the duty before asking for a price.

01

Warehouse staging

Aisle width, pallet size and hook travel must sit on the same brief as rated capacity.

02

Maintenance pits

Pit depth, lowered height and free lift change whether a standard body clears the beam.

03

Fabrication cells

Duty cycle and lifts per hour decide if a heavy duty electric chain hoist is in scope.

04

Dock-side transfer

Dock height and beam clearance belong in the RFQ with destination documents.

Site inputs that change the specification

These rows are buyer checks. They are not a published compliance result and they are not a finished price.

Input Why it belongs on the RFQ Common miss
Rated capacity Factories quote a capacity basis. A 1-ton nameplate is not the same as an application load with a different load center. Comparing bare nameplate numbers
Lift height Hook travel in inches or millimeters must match the quoted chain length. Writing a number without units
Duty class H3 versus H4 changes motor and brake envelopes on a heavy duty electric chain hoist. Leaving duty blank
Power 115 V, 230 V, 460 V three-phase supply or shop air pressure must be named. Assuming the factory will pick voltage
Suspension Hook mount, trolley and low headroom change the body that can fit the beam. Omitting beam size
Site extras Freight, anchors, electrical and commissioning stay named extras unless included. Mixing installed cost into a machine price

Seismic design input, if the building engineer requires it, is a document the factory must address after a match. It is not a certificate this desk issues. Review inquiry options or open the unit note.
